Drought in the Bayou
The summer of 2006 brought the worst drought on record to South Louisiana. Here is a picture of Bayou Savage, where portions are completely dried up.

What an incredible photo, and a dramatic concept to wrap one's mind around. It would indeed take a horrible drought to dry a bayou!
