Bayou Horses
Horses are kept on an island in the wetlands of South Louisiana, near Pointe-Au-Chien.

Drought in the Bayou
The summer of 2006 brought the worst drought on record to South Louisiana. Here is a picture of Bayou Savage, where portions are completely dried up.
