Drought in the Bayou
The summer of 2006 brought the worst drought on record to South Louisiana. Here is a picture of Bayou Savage, where portions are completely dried up.

After All This Time...
This is yet another house destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, over 1.5 years after the disaster. There are thousands of houses like this still waiting to be demolished or repaired.
